Nicki Minaj Targeted In Swatting Hoax After Caller Falsely Reports Shooting At Her L.A. Home
Nicki Minaj is once again dealing with an alarming and dangerous situation at her home.

Law enforcement swarmed the rapper’s Hidden Hills residence Wednesday night (April 9) after someone falsely reported a shooting at the property. According to reports from TMZ and the Los Angeles Times, the caller claimed a Black woman had been shot at Nicki’s house and that two people were still on the scene.

Deputies arrived around 7 p.m. and found the home empty. There were no signs of a crime. The incident was later confirmed to be a swatting hoax. Swatting is when someone makes a fake emergency call to provoke a heavy police response.

This is not the first time Nicki has been targeted. In 2023, she faced two similar hoaxes. One caller claimed someone had been shot, and another accused her of child ab*se. Both were false and quickly dismissed by authorities.

As of now, the individual responsible for the latest call to Nicki’s home has not been identified.
