Meek Mill Recalls Violating Probation By Crossing State Lines To Escape ‘Chaos’ In Philly

Meek Mill is reflecting on the risks he took just to feel safe while on probation.

In a new Instagram post, the rapper shared a photo with Robert Kraft and Clara Wu Tsai, who he has worked with on criminal justice reform, and opened up about violating probation by crossing state lines to reach safety in New Jersey.

“I told Robert and Clara… on probation you can’t pass state lines, I was breaking the probation rules every day just to go in the house where it’s safe in NJ… crossing state lines was a violation,” Meek wrote.

In the second slide, Meek included a map of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with pinpoints marking areas of danger, illustrating how unsafe parts of the city can be. He added,

“Look at second slide… what would you do? Chaos just 15mins away!”
