‘Married To Medicine’ Alum Buffie Appears To Confirm Dr. Contessa Followed Through w/ Defamation Lawsuit

Quick recap: In February 2024, ‘Married To Medicine‘ alum Buffie Purselle claimed in an interview that her former co-star Dr. Contessa Metcalfe made a crazy remark to her that Bravo never aired. During a heated exchange, Contessa allegedly told Buffie, “Get down on the floor and let me rock you like the babies you’ll never have.” It was revealed on the show that Buffie was dealing with infertility struggles.

Contessa, however, adamantly denied making the remark, even hopping on live to threaten Buffie with a defamation suit.

Welp, it seems the medical professional is a woman of her word. In a video shared across her socials, Buffie lip-synced to a popular sound bite and captioned the clip,

“When I found out that doctor from that show actually sued me a year ago.”

While she didn’t name any names, viewers quickly assumed the lawsuit came from Contessa. Buffie responded to a few comments, further fueling the assumption she was talking about the famed army vet. She also alluded that she won the legal dispute.

Now that the drama is legally settled, maybe Buffie and Dr. Contessa can finally scrub out of their ongoing feud.
