Chris Brown Asks Judge To Block Release Of Deposition In $90 Million Dog Att@ck Case To Protect His Family’s Safety
Chris Brown’s legal saga continues.
If you recall, Chris Brown is being sued for $90 million by his former housekeeper, Maria Avila, who claims his dog mauled her while she was taking out the trash at his LA home in 2020.
Well, according to legal docs obtained by In Touch, Chris’ legal team filed an emergency motion on May 2 seeking a protective order to block the release of his deposition in the ongoing case.
Chris said he was deposed on Apr. 30 and claimed his home address and mother’s name were revealed during questioning. His team had already asked opposing counsel to agree to a protective order, but they refused.

His attorney wrote,
“Mr. Brown has historically had issues with intruders and trespassers on his property, a property at which not only he but also his minor children and other family members spend time. On one occasion, after having returned from a tour, Mr. Brown came home to a stranger who had broken into and was living in his house.”
The filing continued,
“These sorts of targeted break-ins not only constitute an ‘unwarranted annoyance’ but also threaten Mr. Brown’s and his family’s safety.”
Chris is asking the judge to prevent the release of his deposition to avoid further risk. The court has not yet ruled.
