YouTube Star Austin McBroom Slams Ex-Wife Catherine Paiz Over Cheating Allegations In New Memoir, Claims Her Ayahuasca ‘Addiction’ Drove Them Apart

YouTuber Austin McBroom, best known for the viral ACE Family videos with ex-wife Catherine Paiz, is breaking his silence following the release of her memoir, Dolores – My Journey Home.

In a lengthy video, the 32-year-old said he was “blindsided” by Catherine’s portrayal of their past, accusing her of unfairly painting him as the “bad guy.” While he admits to stepping out during their marriage and says he’d take it back if he could, Austin claims the infidelity wasn’t a shock to Catherine. He alludes that the influencer had all but given him permission to do so during a year-long sexless period in their relationship.

“She knew exactly what I was doing and when I was doing it. So much so, she stayed with me another 5-6 years after that.”

Austin also claims their emotional distance grew as Catherine began a spiritual journey involving Ayahuasca, a powerful psychedelic. According to him, after one trip, she began claiming she was a reincarnation of the Virgin Mary and refused to be intimate with him. He alleges she became addicted to the experience, taking Ayahuasca “once a month,” when most people only do it a handful of times in a lifetime.

He went on to say Catherine met someone new during a retreat, leading to the end of their relationship. More controversially, he claims she now hosts Ayahuasca ceremonies at home, sometimes around their children, without licensed professionals, and allegedly includes minors and illegally sourced substances from Brazil.
