Stylist Law Roach Says Zendaya Sent Actress Anna Sawai Flowers After They Wore Similar Looks To The Met Gala: ‘I Hate The Way People Try To Pen Women Or Stylists’
Law Roach is clearing the air after Zendaya and Anna Sawai hit the Met Gala carpet in similar white suit looks.
Addressing the internet’s attempt to create a “b**** stole my look” moment, Law Roach told ET, “I think people thought there was some type of disappointment on our end,” but clarified there was no drama at all: “Zendaya sent Anna flowers.”
Law Roach explained both actresses were inspired by different women:
“Two people paying homage to different people. Yoko being Anna’s inspiration and Diana and Bianca being ours.”
As for the comparison, Law made it clear he wasn’t here for it:
“I hate the way people try to pin women or stylists …. They both looked great.”
