‘Today’ Co-Host Sheinelle Jones’ Husband Passes Away From Brain Cancer [CONDOLENCES]
Sheinelle Jones is mourning a heartbreaking loss.
Her husband of 17 years, Uche Ojeh, has passed away after a battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was 45.
“With profound sadness, we share this morning that Uche Ojeh, the husband of our friend and TODAY co-host Sheinelle Jones, has passed away after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma,” Savannah Guthrie said on TODAY. “There are no words for the pain we feel for Sheinelle and their three young children. Uche was an incredible person. We all loved him.”
Sheinelle Jones and Uche Ojeh first met at NorthwesternUniversity in the late ’90s. Years later, he proposed on that same campus, and they married in 2007. Their first son was born in 2009, followed by twins in 2012.
