Hailey Bieber Sells Skincare Company Rhode To E.l.f. Beauty In $1 Billion Deal
Hailey Bieber is cashing out.
On Wednesday (May 28), e.l.f. Beauty announced it acquired Rhode for a whopping $1 billion. According to the press release, Hailey Bieber will stay on as founder while also stepping into new roles as chief creative officer and head of innovation.
Hailey Bieber shared,
“From day one, my vision for rhode has been to make essential skin care and hybrid makeup you can use every day. Just three years into this journey, our partnership with e.l.f. Beauty marks an incredible opportunity to elevate and accelerate our ability to reach more of our community with even more innovative products and widen our distribution globally.”
According to the release, Rhode was the No. 1 skincare brand in Earned Media Value in 2024 with 367% year-over-year growth.
