During her recent stop at #TheBreakfastClub, the singer opened up about how people often comment on the drama that surrounds her love life by telling her to “remember who you are.”

She responded with a rhetorical question:

“What do you suggest I do? What would that be?”

“People say it all the time, ‘Remember who you are.’ … Whatever happens, it’s happening because God says it’s happening.”
