Jermaine Dupri Signs R&B Duo DVSN Following Their Departure From Drake’s OVO Sound
Congrats are in order for both R&B duo DVSN and legendary producer Jermaine Dupri!
The iconic hitmaker recently announced that DVSN has found a new home after leaving Drake’s OVO Sound label, becoming the first act signed to Dupri’s new joint label venture with HYBE. Sharing the news on Instagram, Jermaine wrote:
“After working with DVSN on their latest album, going to their shows, seeing how much their fans love them, and then when I hear that they had just become free agents—I had to sign them and make DVSN my first signing at So So Def / HYBE.”

For those unfamiliar, DVSN (pronounced “division”) is a Canadian R&B duo made up of singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85. They rose to fame with tracks like “Too Deep,” “With Me,” and “Hallucinations,” and have released several critically acclaimed projects under OVO Sound, including their 2022 album Working on My Karma, which Dupri himself helped produce.
