DDG Files Emergency Motion To Stop Halle Bailey From Taking Their Son Out The Country, Cites Concerns Over Her Mental Health

DDG is taking legal steps to stop Halle Bailey from flying their son, Halo, to Italy.

The rapper filed an emergency motion Wednesday morning (June 4), saying Halle poses an “imminent emotional and psychological risk” to their child. He requested a hearing because Halle plans to travel with Halo out of the country on Saturday (June 7).

DDG wants the court to block the trip, arguing that Halle is not mentally stable enough to care for herself or their son.

In the court documents, DDG points to several alleged incidents. He says Halle once took his gun and left their home without telling him where she was going. He then allegedly found her outside holding the weapon. This apparently happened while she was pregnant.

He also claims Halle tried to have an abortion without telling him, but later changed her mind. Two months after Halo was born, DDG says Halle sent “a series of alarming text messages threatening to kill herself and suggesting that their infant son, Halo, might also be harmed.”

This comes after Halle accused DDG of abusive behavior in the past, including an incident where she said he slammed her face into a steering wheel and chipped her tooth. DDG denies her version of events.

In addition to blocking Halle from traveling with Halo, DDG wants sole legal and physical custody, or at the very least, for a third party to supervise all custody exchanges.
