‘RHOP’ Alum Nneka Ihim Welcomes Her First Child After Losing Twin In Utero: ‘He Is Worth It All’
Former “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Nneka Ihim has officially entered motherhood, welcoming her first child, son Noah Jidechi Ikeoha Ihim, with husband Dr. Ikenna Ihim on May 14.
The newborn arrived weighing 7 lbs., 1.4 oz., and Nneka tells People Magazine, “I just stare at him and think, ‘Wow, this is the person that was kicking me in the ribs all those months.’”
In January, Nneka revealed she had lost Noah’s twin in utero, making her son’s birth even more meaningful. “If any of the prior IUIs or IVF transfers worked, I wouldn’t have this exact little boy—and he is worth it all.”
Despite the loss, Nneka calls her transition into motherhood “amazing and pretty smooth,” crediting the constant support from her own mother and Ikenna’s aunts. She’s soaking in the quiet moments—Noah resting on her chest—and navigating the noisy ones: “He really cries a lot during diaper changes!”
Congrats to the new mom! What’s the one piece of advice you can give her?
