Pusha T Confirms ‘So Be It’ Diss Is About Travis Scott, Calls Him A ‘Wh*re’ Over Alleged Disloyalty To Pharrell

#PushaT isn’t feeling #TravisScott.

In a new interview with GQ, Pusha confirmed that his verse on the new Clipse track “So Be It” is aimed directly at Travis. He says the tension started when Travis brought his album to Pharrell’s studio… only to later drop “Meltdown” featuring #Drake dissing Pharrell.

“The true context of that is we were in Paris, literally working, and he was calling to play P his new album. He came to [Pharrell’s] studio. He interrupted a session,” Pusha said.

“He sees me and Malice there. He’s like, ‘Oh, man, everybody’s here,’ he’s smiling, laughing, jumping around, doing his f*cking monkey dance. We weren’t into the music, but he wanted to play it, wanted to film [us and Pharrell listening to it]. And then a week later you hear ‘Meltdown,’ which he didn’t play. He played the song, but not [Drake’s verse].”

He continued, “He’s done this a lot. He has no picks. He’ll do this with anybody… I personally have been removed from that crew and those people for a minute. So that’s where my issue comes in… like, dawg, don’t even come over here with that, because at the end of the day, I don’t play how y’all play. To me, that really was just like… he’s a wh*re. He’s a wh*re.”

Travis hasn’t responded, but social media has thoughts. One person wrote, “You know what’s really corny? Dissing a bigger artist for clout knowing they’re harmless.” Another added, “I always asked myself why Travis be letting others diss people in his music. Happened with Ye and P. Like bro, you can edit that sh*t out.”
