Rapper Silentó Begins 30-Year Prison Sentence For The Murder Of His Cousin w/ Fully Shaved Head
Rapper Silentó, best known for his 2015 viral hit Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae), is starting his 30-year prison sentence with a new look.
The 27-year-old appeared with a buzz cut in his latest mugshot, as he begins serving time for his role in the 2021 shooting de@th of his cousin, Frederick Rooks III. The Georgia Department of Corrections officially listed Silentó, real name Ricky Lamar Hawk, as an active inmate this week.

According to his team, the rapper was apologetic following his sentencing and has been battling a long-standing mental health crisis. Despite his circumstances, Silentó reportedly plans to continue making music while incarcerated. Georgia state records currently list his potential release date as January 2051.
