Ts Madison Walks Back Previous Comment That NeNe Leakes Sees Her A Man: ‘This Isn’t About Division’
Ts Madison is clearing up her recent comments about NeNe Leakes.
While chatting with TMZ recently, Ts Madison opened up about her recent appearance on The NeNe Leakes Show, where NeNe asked her about her dating preferences and suggested that a man who is romantically involved with Ts Madison must be gay, as Ts Madison is a trans woman. At the time, Ts told NeNe that that isn’t true since she is a woman as well.
According to TMZ, Ts said recently that she believes NeNe sees her as a man, which is why they had the dialogue they did on NeNe’s show. She later clarified that she doesn’t think that about NeNe’s perception and made it clear that they don’t have any issues.
She continued:
“There are real gaps in how we, as a culture, understand the difference between sex, gender, sexual orientation, and identity. And the truth is, a lot of people — including cisgender women — are still learning. That doesn’t mean they’re hateful, it means they’re growing.”
She explained:
“I stand ten toes down in who I am, and I’m not offended by someone trying to understand me better. This moment isn’t about division. It’s about dialogue — and if you really listened to what I said, you’d hear that too.”
