Microsoft Announces More Job Cuts, About 9,000 Roles Affected
Microsoft is laying off more employees.
The tech giant began notifying staff of the latest cuts on Wednesday (July 2). While Microsoft declined to specify the exact number, the company said the layoffs will impact less than 4% of its workforce from a year ago, which would be around 9,000 jobs.
Microsoft said the cuts will affect multiple teams globally, including its Xbox and sales divisions.
