G*nman In Bulletproof Vest Opens Fire At Park Avenue Skyscraper In NYC + Critically Injures Cop & Civilian Before Taking His Own Life

A g*nman wearing a bulletproof vest opened fire Monday inside a Midtown skyscraper that houses Blackstone and the NFL, injuring two civilians and a police officer, sources told The Post.

The suspect, armed with a rifle, was seen wearing a blazer and dark sunglasses as he entered the Park Avenue building. One witness said it “sounded like a barrage of shots … like an automatic weapon.” The officer, working paid detail, and a civilian are both in critical condition.

The sh**ter barricaded himself on the 33rd floor and was later found d*ad from a self-inflicted g*nshot wound, sources said.
