Diddy Seeks To Overturn Pro$titution Conviction Or Be Granted A New Trial w/o 2016 Cassie A$$ault Footage
Diddy wants his record cleared and his freedom back.
In new court filings, the mogul asked a federal judge to overturn his conviction on two pro$titution counts or grant him a new trial.
Diddy’s team argues the charges don’t apply because he did not make money off pro$titution, did not have s*x with a pro$titute, and did not arrange transportation for pro$titutes.
They say testimony showed he mostly watched and/or recorded the activity, and that the women involved made all the travel and payment arrangements themselves.
His lawyers also argue that paying to watch s*x acts is not considered pro$titution, and claim the encounters were “consensual” and took place among “friends.”
If the convictions aren’t tossed, Diddy is asking for a new trial… this time without the 2016 Cassie hotel footage, where he was seen physically a$$aulting the singer. His team says the video was only relevant to the now-dismissed RICO and s*x trafficking charges.
