Though Danielle was alert and talking with family just a day before her passing, she suffered a “code blue” and was moved to the ICU. Her mother said she ultimately d*ed from cardiac arrest and gastric cancer.
After stepping away from acting, Danielle fulfilled her longtime dream of becoming a veterinarian, working in the Los Angeles area for more than 20 years until her health declined in 2013.
Her brother, jazz musician Jeremy Pelt, told TMZ she had a “tremendous amount of love and care for those she loved” and remained “positive in her darkest moments.”
We continue to keep Danielle’s loved ones in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
