Kanye West’s upcoming documentary is teasing an emotional moment with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
The billionaire SKIMS co-founder breaks down in tears in the newly released trailer for In Whose Name?, which chronicles Kanye’s turbulent personal and public life. In the emotional clip, Kim tells Kanye, “Your personality was not like this a few years ago,” followed by a moment where he says, “Never tell me I’m gonna wake up one day and have nothing.”

According to a synopsis, the film explores Kanye’s struggles over a six-year period, including mental health challenges, the collapse of his marriage, co-parenting the 4 children he shares with Kim, and the fallout from his controversial behavior.
Set to hit theaters on September 19, the documentary also features intimate glimpses of the former couple’s strained dynamic before and after their public fallout and divorce, finalized in 2022.
