Rapper BigXthaPlug Emotionally Speaks On The Struggle Of Balancing His Career & Raising His Autistic Son: ‘It Takes A Toll On Me’ [VIDEO]
BigXthaPlug has seen his star rise quickly over the past few years, but it hasn’t come without sacrifice.
The rapper recently sat down with Popcast and opened up about the emotional challenges of being away from his family as his career takes off, especially when it comes to his 6-year-old son, Amar, who has been diagnosed with autism.

BigX, whose real name is Xavier Landum, shed tears during the conversation while expressing his desire to be present for his son and not miss the important moments of his life. Still, he acknowledged that the demands of success make that difficult, admitting: “Me not being there, especially when I told my son, ‘You’ll never not see me a day in your life’… it takes a toll on me.”
He went on to say he finds some comfort in knowing that the sacrifices he’s making are to create a better future for Amar, recognizing that his son will face challenges.
