According to an investigation by #ESPN’s Pablo Torre, the Los Angeles #Clippers allegedly paid superstar Kawhi $28 million for a “no-show job” with a tree-planting company. The deal, funded with $50 million from the Clippers, was supposedly structured to bypass #NBA salary cap rules. Allegedly, Kawhi never performed any work for the company, but the arrangement was presented as a legitimate endorsement deal.
