Legal affairs reporter Meghann Cuniff has shared court documents that show the rapper’s trial, meant to start on Oct. 14, will now begin next year, on Jan. 20, 2026. Meghann also noted that Durk’s lawyers opposed the delay, but his three codefendants didn’t.
As reported, Durk is accused of being behind the 2022 murder-for-hire plot targeting fellow rapper #QuandoRondo. While Quando survived, the scheme resulted in the de@th of his cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, who was with Quando in a vehicle at the time of the sh**ting.
