Solange Launches Free Digital Library Featuring Rare Books By Black Authors
Solange Knowles is making rare Black literature more accessible with the launch of Saint Heron’s new digital archive library. Announced via Instagram, she wrote, “The Saint Heron Library is home to our archival collection of primarily rare, out of print, and 1st edition titles by Black & brown authors, poets, & artists.”

The library operates free of charge, giving users 45 days to borrow materials with a prepaid return label.
Solange added, “We would like to play a small part in creating free access to the expansive range of critical thought and expression by these great mindsss.”
