The “#BasketballWives” star has formally requested that the court raise her monthly child support payments from #PJWashington to at least $35,000. As reported, their current arrangement is $5,500 per month. However, in legal documents obtained by TMZ, Brittany argues that after relocating to #California with their 4-year-old son, the $5,500 isn’t enough.
She claims she “cannot afford the high cost of living” and is “struggling to make ends meet.” Brittany alleges that P.J. exercises “less than half of the visitation time he is entitled to.” In addition, Brittany highlights P.J.’s recent four-year, $90 million contract extension with the Dallas Mavericks as evidence of his financial capacity. She asserts, “I cannot provide [our son] a life anywhere similar to that of his father.”
She’s also requesting that P.J. cover her $50,000 in attorney’s fees. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for November.
