Lil Durk Accuses Feds Of Withholding Evidence In M*rder-For-Hire Case + Pushes To Have
Charges Dropped
He’s not going down without a fight!
According to AllHipHop, Lil Durk wants his federal m*rder-for-hire case thrown out, claiming the government is withholding vital information that could help him build a fair defense.
The rapper, born in Chicago, is accused of organizing a hit on Quando Rondo in retaliation for the 2020 d*ath of his close friend King Von.
Authorities say Durk’s team flew to Los Angeles in August 2022 and ambushed Quando Rondo at a gas station. Rondo survived, but his cousin, Lul Pab, was fatally sh*t.
Durk’s legal team says the indictment is vague and lacks critical details.
“While the Indictment alleges… it fails to give any specifics. When, where, how, and to whom did Mr. Banks give these alleged directions?” attorney Drew Findling argued.
The defense also claims the prosecution has not revealed who received the supposed coded messages or when and where the offers were made. A hearing is set for November 18.
What do you think of Durk’s latest bid to get these charges tossed?
