LeBron James Sued By Lakers Fan Accusing Him Of Fraud & Deception’ Over ‘Second
Decision’ Hennessy Ad Stunt

People are a little upset with #LeBronJames over his big announcement.

The pro baller is being sued for $865.66 by #Lakers fan Andrew Garcia in Los Angeles small claims court, who claims he was misled by LeBron’s recent “Second Decision” teaser. Garcia says he bought two tickets at $432.83 each, believing the announcement signaled LeBron’s retirement, only to learn it was an advertisement for #Hennessy. Garcia claims the tickets have since lost their value.

In the lawsuit, Garcia says LeBron should reimburse him because of “fraud, deception, and misrepresentation.” He also told TMZ, “I wouldn’t have purchased it if he wasn’t going to retire. Plain and simple.”

Garcia isn’t alone in his criticism of the ad; sports commentator Stephen A. Smith also slammed #LeBron for the marketing stunt.
