Standing ten toes down behind her claims that Bia isn’t the sole writer behind her 2020 hit “Whole Lotta Money,” Cardi told us that the 34-year-old “lied.” She added, “I got the whole hook on my phone.”
As reported, in a recent interview, Bia explained why she decided not to respond to Cardi’s “Pretty & Petty” diss record, saying, “Go enjoy your pregnancy… I’m not going to keep going back and forth with you and the writer over and over.” Addressing the shade during an audio convo on X (formerly Twitter) with her fans, Cardi, 33, said that despite #Bia claiming to write all her own rhymes, “Whole Lotta Money” was a reference track that was sent to her first, but she “dubbed it.” Bia denied this to Billboard, claiming she wrote the song’s hook and first verse herself, and clarifying that while “everybody uses writers,” she’s a rapper who puts “pen to paper.”
