Offset Hit With Over $2 Million in Tax Debt Amid Divorce From Cardi B
Offset is facing major financial trouble as his unpaid tax balance reportedly climbs past $2.3 million, according to recent federal and state filings obtained by Us Weekly.
Records show the rapper, 32, has been hit with multiple liens from the Internal Revenue Service and the Georgia Department of Revenue over the past few years. The latest IRS filing adds another six-figure lien, pushing his total outstanding balance to roughly $2,353,692. Separate filings list additional unpaid amounts totaling $1,866,978.73, covering previous years of federal and state income taxes.
While Cardi B is not named in the filings, the financial developments come at a complicated time for the couple, who are in the midst of a high-profile divorce. The pair married in 2017 and share two children — Kulture and Wave — but have been living separately since Cardi filed to end their marriage earlier this year.
Tax experts note that if left unresolved, liens of this size can lead to serious consequences, including asset seizures and frozen accounts. For Offset, the multi-million-dollar debt adds another layer of pressure as he navigates both personal and financial challenges under public scrutiny.
Neither Offset nor his representatives have commented publicly on the liens.
