Blueface Says Mike Epps Went Left’ For Saying People Shouldn’t Be Celebrated Just For Coming Home From Prison: ‘You Not Livi That Type Of Lifestyle’
Blueface isn’t here for #MikeEpps’ stance on not celebrating someone’s prison release.
Taking to his IG Story, #Blueface said, “That would be equivalent to somebody coming out and saying, ‘we shouldn’t celebrate somebody that’s on stage telling jokes. They should go to school and go to college and be bigger and better…that’s clown sh!t.’” He continued, “I think you went left. You can’t really speak on people’s lifestyles. Anybody coming home who did things the right way and kept it solid should definitely be celebrated.” Blueface then told Mike to stay in his place “‘cause you not living that type of lifestyle.”
In another video, Blue compared Mike’s comments to someone in the #LGBTQ+ community, saying that while we “shouldn’t glorify bullsh!t,” we “should glorify change and people staying true to themselves.” He added, “They out the closet and helping people in the closet come out, we should celebrate them.”
The rapper’s comments come after Mike clarified his initial remarks, explaining that he “Wasn’t saying it was wrong to be celebrated, but we don’t want to send a message to the kids saying ‘prison is great,’… I don’t think that’s cool.”
