[UPDATE] Mike Tyson Says Exhibition Fight w/ Floyd Mayweather Is Set For March 2026 & ‘It’s Going To Be In Africa’
Looks like the #MikeTyson and #FloydMayweather Jr. exhibition fight is really happening.
The event was first announced in September, though details were scarce. Tyson, 59, has now confirmed that the matchup is officially locked in. Speaking at An Experience With, he revealed, “It’s going to be in March and it’s going to be in Africa… We’re going to break all the records. It’s going to be one of the biggest events in the history of the sport.”
The exact weight terms for the fight remain a mystery. #Tyson built his legacy as a dominant heavyweight, while Mayweather, 48, claimed world titles across five divisions, ranging from junior lightweight to junior middleweight. How they’ll meet in the middle for this exhibition is still to be seen.
