Aubrey O’Day Says Illness & Emotional Stress Sent Her to the ER After Diddy Documentary Fallout
Aubrey O’Day is speaking out after a health scare that temporarily sidelined her from the road. The singer took to social media to clarify that while she was physically ill, the emotional weight of watching her personal history play out publicly added significant stress during an already overwhelming moment.
In her post, O’Day explained that revisiting details of her life “from outside of just my limited lens” — and with added context — became emotionally taxing and created intense pressure. She shared that it ultimately took “all of a day, and a trip to the ER,” before she was able to return to touring.
Her comments came after a media outlet reported that O’Day had been hospitalized and forced to miss a Danity Kane reunion show, claiming the experience of watching the Diddy Netflix documentary made her so ill she couldn’t perform. The outlet described her as being “out of the hospital and ready to talk” following the ordeal.
O’Day ended her message by thanking those who showed her genuine support during the situation, signaling that she is now back on tour and moving forward after the scare.
