Ladies, would you get down on one knee if your man takes too long to propose?

#JoJoSiwa, 22, says she’s team “women can propose to men too.” The #DanceMoms alum recently sat down for an interview with her boyfriend, UK TV personality Chris Hughes, 33, for The Sun, sharing what’s next for their relationship. Hinting at a possible engagement after the holidays, Chris said, “You always get people who get engaged on Christmas morning. You see it on Instagram—every year, you’re gonna see somebody who gets engaged. I like the idea of it not being at a time where it could be expected.”

JoJo then weighed in, suggesting she has no problem proposing herself. “This is my thing. What if I got him a ring? What if I proposed?” When Chris pushed back, she clarified her terms, noting she wouldn’t take that step unless he waited too long. “I wouldn’t do it unless you waited seven years,” she said, “Then I’d be like, ‘Alright, my a** is getting down on the knee then.’” She added a playful deadline, telling Chris, “Just so you know…on May 27, 2032, I will be down on one knee. I will not wait one extra day.”
