Atlanta Man Accused Of Stealing Beyoncé’s Unreleased Music Pleads Not Guilty
The man accused of stealing unreleased music from #Beyoncé’s team has formally denied the charges.
Kelvin Evans, 40, appeared virtually in Fulton County court on Wednesday (Jan. 7) and pleaded not guilty to counts that include entering an automobile with the intent to commit theft and criminal trespass, according to court records and law enforcement reports. Evans is accused of breaking into a rental SUV belonging to members of Beyoncé’s touring crew on July 8, 2025, during her #CowboyCarter Tour stop in Atlanta and taking several items.
Police say the car was parked in a parking deck on Krog Street NE when the theft occurred, and investigators later traced Evans as a suspect; he was arrested in August 2025 on a parole violation and later released on a $20,000 bond. Prosecutors allege the stolen property included jump drives with unreleased music, show plans, Apple devices, and a MacBook Pro, among other items. Evans’ next court date is set for Feb. 11 for a case management hearing as the legal process continues.
