Doesn’t Have Long To Live
#RayJ is doing what he can to get his health back on track.
The One Wish singer told TMZ that doctors have placed him on eight medications, including Lipitor, Jardiance, and Entresto, to help manage his failing heart. During a recent livestream, Ray said he was informed his heart is “beating at 25%,” adding that doctors told him they’re unsure whether he’ll live to see 2027.
In an update to the outlet, Ray shared that he may need a pacemaker or defibrillator if his condition doesn’t improve. For now, he’s been warned to avoid drinking and smoking. Earlier this month, Ray was rushed to the hospital with a reported severe case of pneumonia and heart pain. Finding light amid the uncertainty, Ray said, “If I come out of this, I’ll be stronger and a better person.”
