‘Strong Creative Momentum’
Daytime TV is losing another familiar face as Sherri Shepherd’s syndicated talk show wraps after four seasons on air.
According to Variety, distributor Debmar-Mercury confirmed that “Sherri” will conclude following the 2025–2026 season, with new episodes continuing into the fall. The company emphasized the cancellation is industry-driven, not performance-based.
“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production – which has found strong creative momentum this season – or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” said co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus. “We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”
The series tapes at New York’s Chelsea Studios and filled former slots once held by “The Wendy Williams Show.”
Reflecting on the show’s renewal last year, Sherri Shepherd said, “I don’t take it for granted that people welcome me into their homes daily… I work so hard to bring escapism to viewers’ lives through joy, laughter and inspiration.”
Are you hoping Sherri’s show will find a new home?
