WNBA Star Arike Ogunbowale Arrested After Allegedly Punching Man At Miami Nightclub
WNBA standout Arike Ogunbowale found herself in legal trouble this week after being arrested following a late-night altercation at a Miami hotspot.
According to police, the Dallas Wings guard was taken into custody early Thursday morning after an incident at E11EVEN Miami, a popular 24-hour nightclub in downtown Miami.
Authorities say Ogunbowale allegedly punched a man in the face with a closed fist, causing him to fall to the ground during the confrontation.
The alleged victim was reportedly a security staff member at the venue, and police responded to the scene shortly after the altercation.
Ogunbowale was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery, according to the report.
She was later released after posting bond, and it remains unclear whether additional legal action will follow. Neither Ogunbowale nor the Dallas Wings had publicly commented on the incident at the time of the report.
