[New Music] Reginae Carter Tries Her Hand At Music, Releases Father’s Day Tribute to Lil Wayne, ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’
Two days before Father’s day, Reginae Carter, the daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Wright has released a new single, with her new group, Nae & Lo (short for Reginae and friend Lourdes) called ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’.
Released on Young Money Entertainment, both girls sing about having their father’s as protection as they grow up:
Cuz I’m daddy’s little girl …. Daddy’s little baby….He will never leave me, even though I drive him crazy….Until I get older, I’m on daddy’s shoulders….Imma stick with daddy cuz this world is getting colder….Yeah, that’s my daddy.
Check it out.
As you’ll recall, initially, Reginae was a member of the OMG Girlz, but left the group. No word yet on when ‘Nae & Lo’ will be releasing a full album, but Reginae did update fans on Instagram, writing:
Fathers Day Tribute. The song will be out tomorrow. We were in the studio working and wanted to do a Fathers Day tribute. Hope you guys like it. #Nae&lo look out for it tomorrow. #excited
