Miguel Remains Mum After Early Morning DUI Arrest

Singer Miguel (real name Miguel Jontel Pimentel) has had a few legal challenges this year. And he’s just been hit with a second. According to TMZ, the 27-year-old was arrested for driving drunk, in LA, in the wee hours of the morning. The incident allegedly went down when California Highway Patrol officers flagged down his 2013 BMW X6 for speeding and tinted windows next to an L.A. freeway around 2:15 AM.

During the stop, officers noticed the singer smelled of alcohol and performed various field sobriety tests, which he failed. He also took a breathalyzer and blew a .10 and .11, . which is over the .08 legal limit in CA. Miguel was then arrested for DUI and taken to a nearby station where he was booked … and released a few hours later on $5,000 bail.
