Chris Brown is heading to rehab. His representative confirmed the news Tuesday evening:

This comes one day after his DC ‘incident’ landed him 24 hours in jail. The singer’s arrest on an assault charge put him on a path toward a possible prison sentence, but he will be in a rehabilitation facility as his next court date approaches. After rehab news hit, the singer wrote on twitter:

According to CNN, the Los Angeles County district attorney appears in no mood to cut C-Breezy any breaks, which has folk speculating that prosecutors will ask for jail time for him because of the arrest.

Long story short, it could trigger a probation revocation. Chris is due in a Los Angeles court on November 20 for a probation status hearing. Prosecutors have declined to comment on if they will seek to put him behind bars.

Before heading to rehab, Chris and his on-again-off-again girlfriend, Karrueche, shared an Instagram kiss.
