[The Plot, Sadly Thickens] Columbus Short Allegedly Physically Attacked Wife in Domestic Dispute

More not-so-nice claims have surfaced about actor Columbus Short. Earlier this week, we reported that he was involved in a bar fight (at Gabe’s Bar & Grill) on March 15th. In short, he allegedly got into a heated argument with a man at the engagement party, which resulted in the alleged victim having his nose broken and becoming unconscious.

Since the news hit, additional allegations have been reported about the Scandal actor. According to TMZ, the 31-year-old has a history of not keeping his hands to himself.

Reportedly, last month he was arrested for physically attacking his wife in front of his children. Allegedly, the incident occurred at his Woodland Hills home at around 2 AM.  According to legal docs, he and his wife started arguing and it got physical. What makes matters worse? Allegedly, their children, who are two and ten years old, were watching.  He was charged with spousal battery. Prosecutors also charged him with child abuse because of the emotional trauma the kids suffered by watching. Short pled not guilty on Tuesday. If you recall, earlier last year, we reported that he and his wife (Tanee McCall) were separated, but later reconciled. There was never confirmation on why they separated. 

Two weeks ago, another incident happened between Columbus and his wife. Again, he and his wife got into an argument with it resulting in her allegedly pushing her. This incident took place in Chatworth, CA.

In March, 2010 the actor was playing basketball at an L.A. Fitness gym when he got into an argument with another player and socked the guy in the face, knocking several teeth out.

As of Wednesday evening, a warrant had been issued for his arrest for felony aggravated battery stemming from the bar fight earlier this month. He had not yet turned himself in. His bond has been set at $50,000.
