[EXCLUSIVE] Rapper Fabolous Accused Of Theft, Sued For Causing Musician Anxiety & Depression
Rapper Fabolous (real name John David Jackson) is accused of stealing from a retired man — along with causing him anxiety and depression — all because he allegedly stole his music without paying him.
A man named Herman Kelley filed suit against the 36-year-old rapper in NY Court on April 22nd.
Kelley explains that around December 2012, he found out his 1974 song “Try To Leave Me If You Can” was illegally sampled by Fab on his song “For The Love”. He says that Fab released his song on his CD “Soul Collection” and Def Jam released the music.
