Taye Diggs Reveals What’s Preventing ‘Best Man 3’
Wondering what’s halting the development of Best Man 3? According to one of the casts leading men, it has everything to do with race in Hollywood. In a recent interview with the Associated Press, actor Taye Diggs says Hollywood studios hold African-American films to a frustratingly separate and unfair standard.
The 43-year-old who starred in the original and follow-up romantic comedy, says that whether a studio decides to proceed with a black-oriented film, often times depends on the success of other movies with primarily African-American casts.
