[INTERVIEW] Exclusive: Mona Scott-Young Downplays Reality TV Fights, Hints LA Spin-Off ‘Coming Soon’
The rumors are true, the Love & Hip Hop franchise is moving to the west coast and reality TV junkies are invited to be thoroughly entertained. The cast has not been confirmed, but we’ve speculated, done some digging and are curious to see who lands where. theJasmineBRAND.com correspondent @Smith recently chatted with Mona Scott-Young, one of the show’s executive producers, about the spin-off.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Rumors has it that Love & Hip Hop is coming to L.A., is there anything that you can tell us?
Mona Scott-Young: Well, we like the surprise element. I mean, listen, we’ve been looking to expand the franchise for a very long time. It’s no secret that I’ve looked at a few cities including Los Angeles, I think that there are some great stories here to tell and ya know, stay tuned.
theJasmineBRAND.com: What are some other cities that you’ve looked at? Would you ever go to a Mid-West town like Detroit?
