(EXCLUSIVE) Brooklyn Nets Sue Physical Therapist Over Illegal Use Trademark
The company who owns the Brooklyn Nets is furious with a New York physical therapy company who are promoting themselves as an official sponsor of the NBA team and now they have headed to court demanding an injunction against the operation from using their name illegally, theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports.
BNL – the owner and operate of the Brooklyn Nets – filed a federal lawsuit against Boro Park Physical Therapy which operates out of NY.
The complaint filed this week explains that BNL owns all slogans, nicknames, symbols, uniform designs etc of the Brooklyn Nets and has been using them to advertise and promote the team since 2012 and has had the trademark to the “Nets” since the 70’s.
