This week, Lala Anthony took her talents to Power 105’s The Breakfast Club to promote her latest book, Power Play Book. During her interview, Lala –who is married to NBA baller Carmelo Anthony and is besties with Kim Kardashian — also opened up about Bruce Jenner’s transition; how her husband feels about her first sex scene (on ‘Power’); why reality TV hindered her in Hollywood and how she handles rejection.

Not getting a recent role that she auditioned for, that she didn’t get:

I went up for Barbershop 3. And I really wanted that one because I felt like it could have been a great movie. And I love Malcolm Lee. I got really close. And when I didn’t get that one. You’re disappointed you know. You wish everybody the best, you move on.

Feeling pressured about her looks:

It’s a constant struggle to try to keep everything together. I just wanna feel good about myself. And I know when I’m falling off.

Her thoughts on Bruce Jenner’s transition: 

I wouldn’t say I was shocked to hear about it…I don’t know what it’s like to be in his shoes. I just wanna offer love and support.
