Kandi Burruss Throws Baby Shower for Single Moms [Photos]
Over the weekend, Kandi Burruss’ foundation Kandi Cares presented “A Baby’s First Baby Shower” event for 10 single expecting mothers or mothers with children less than 3 months old. She partnered on the event with Cakes by Tatyana, Black Celeb Giving, The Mark Venue and Express Smile Atlanta. The ladies were treated with bottles, diapers, wipes, high chairs and $500.00 cash on behalf of her Kandi Cares. In attendance at the event included: Todd Tucker, Chanita Foster – Director of Kandi Cares, Jasmine Crowe – Black Celeb Giving, Kaela Tucker, DonJuan Clark (General Manager of Kandi Koated Entertainment), Joyce Jones (Kandi’s Mother), DJ Yung Kendro, Tammi Pha and more.
The ladies enjoyed fun games and food, and also shared a very emotional moment with Kandi who shared that it takes more than finances to be a good parent. Each lady expressed what a blessing it was to receive the gifts they received for their children. Kandi, in turn shared her reasons for founding the Kandi Care’s foundation, and her experience as a single parent. stating, “It wasn’t easy…” not even for her. See the photos!
