Will Smith Addresses Son Jaden Wearing Womens Clothing [VIDEO]
It’s no secret, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith allow their children — Jaden and Willow — freedom when it comes to expressing themselves.
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1xtra, Will discusses how he raises his teens joking that he may have given too much room for expression:
That may have been a mistake, we may have gone too far.
When discussing how people may clown Jaden for wearing women’s clothing, Will says,
There’s a really powerful internal quality as an artist that as parents we encourage. You gotta get out on the edge, you have to try things, you have to be comfortable doing things people don’t agree with and comfortable doing things that you can fail.
He says that Jaden is,
100% fearless, he will do anything. As a parent, its scary, it’s really terrifying, but he is completely willing to live and die by his open artistic decisions and doesn’t concern himself with that people think.

OK Will…what does that have to do with Jaden dressing like a girl. You know in your time era – – you would have been called gay, chased home and jumped on!!!! It was not tolerated. It was no fine line either you where gay or not….not saying something about “self expression”. Really.
Will, you have become brainwashed! You have allowed fame and fortune to cloud your vision, with regard to raising a young man! Proverbs 22:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. You are to teach and prepare your son for manhood and show him the way. There is a fine line between artistic and extreme. If he is a cross dresser, then say that. If he is gay, then say that too, but do not continue to walk around with rose colored Gucci glasses and deny what is possible evident.
