In light of the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, coupled with Black Lives Matters marches across the country, many are searching for what should be done. The soulful singer posted a message on social media, stating that while boycotting in the 60’s was affective during the civil rights movement, it would not be effective now. See her thoughts below.
