Kanye West Responds to Kid Cudi ‘Don’t Ever Mention ‘Ye Name, I Birthed You’ + Drake Chimes In
Kanye West has responded to Kid Cudi’s twitter rant. As previously reported, on Wednesday, Cudi sent out a series of tweets, some of which took aim at Kanye and Drake. [Click here for the backstory.] It appears that Ye caught wind of Cudi’s comments because he addressed the situation last night during his Pablo tour in Tampa. Ye interrupted his performance, telling the crowd but speaking about Cudi:
Don’t you ever mention ‘Ye name. I birthed you.
He added,
You mad ’cause I do a song with Drake?” he said. “Can’t nobody tell ‘Ye who to do songs with. Respect the God! You know how many people wish they could be signed to G.O.O.D Music (and) get their life changed?
Ye continued,
I wore skinny jeans first, I got called names before you bruh
The mini rant was ended with him stating,
Don’t never mention my name, in a bad manner.
Check out the clip.
Drake, who performed in the Bay area, also low key addressed Cudi as well, telling Oakland fans,
You need to Cud-It.
